1987 ASTON MARTIN VANTAGE VOLANTE X PACK

This is a one of one, completely custom Aston Martin Vantage Volante that has been preserved in phenomenal condition. We are honored to present one of the most iconic Zagato collaborations with Aston Martin that has been completely gone through to make the car reliable and even more powerful than it originally was.
Having had its original drivetrain removed and placed in a crate with its original transmission, this car was gone through by Chariots of Fire. They then overhauled the car to the way it is presented today with less than 500 miles on the build. The car is now powered by a full LS3 conversion running a Magnusson supercharger helping it produce 650 horsepower. The valve cover was completely customized to make it look like it was OEM to make sure that it retained its classines while delivering a monstrous amount of power with excellent reliability.
The car was also given custom HRE Vintage Series 501's with Aston Martin center caps as well and its interior was completely restored to have it look as good as new.
Being just shy of 35200 miles, this car still has an interior in near perfect condition, a restored convertible top, and has no major signs of wear anywhere outside of the vehicle.
This Vantage is an incredibly rare example boasting the iconic "X Pack" bodykit that Aston Martin offered with extended front apron, custom skirts and hood as well.
The X Pack was a farewell to the Vantage model introduced in 77 that had a higher output power plant from the factory with their V580X engine running bigger cams, larger valves and ports, and running carbs that were 48mm as opposed to the 42 in the regular Vantage.
In total, only 43 left hand drive X Pack cars were made, making it some of the rarest Aston Martins of the 80s and an essential to the Aston Martin collector.
Although it has been modified, the car is being sold with its original drivetrain in a crate after being improved upon in the departments of performance and reliability.
The car is being sold with the Aston Martin service manuals and recent maintenance history that includes a full fluid service and tune up to assure the next owners that it is ready to be taken anywhere.
