This is the ultimate restoration and example of a Mercedes 280SL.

We are honored to present a car that has been restored completely as this is the best 280SL we have seen.

This car was completely restored in California by Mercedes Benz Classic expert.

The car has over 600 hours of labor into it. It went through a total ground up restoration 5 years ago which included:

Complete paint job on a completely disassembled body, painting door jambs, all 4 wheel wells, and engine bay.
Rebuilt front suspension with all new mounts, shock absorbers, calipers, and disc brakes.
Rebuilt engine, including all water and heater hoses, new water pump, new AC hoses, new motor mounts, new AC compressor, cad plate all injection lines, brackets and gas pedal linkages.
Rebuilt transmission, including valve body and driveline disc. Rebuilt rear end with new rear axle bearings, shocks and mounts. Rebuilt radiator, new fire wall pad, and new windshield.

All chrome redone by Christensen's plating in Los Angeles. Front and rear bumpers, all windshield trim, all side body chrome moldings, tail light moldings and all exterior hardtop chrome.
Brand new factory weather strips throughout.
New German soft top canvas.
Complete restoration of hard top including new headliner and back window wood.

Other New Old Stock parts include:
New European headlights.
New white ivory steering wheel.

Inside the car, the complete interior was redone in old time German cognac leather.

This is the closest thing you can get to a "new" 280SL.
